Release 0.95

Okay, version 0.95

Staring of new game is required!
Too many changes in the genetic, old characters incompatible.

So, what new:

In game engine:
- Redesign of the Agency window. Player can see stats of the characters.
- Agency now is not hardcoded. Script /templates/system/agency_update control it. Also changed how new characters added to agency. Now new characters will be created with random period, and stay in agency for some random time.
- Genes now have ability to be "spring-like". RNA gene with this feature turned on after it value is changed will return to the "supposed to be" value as time pass. How fast it will be, and how far gene allow to push its value can be specified in the gene properties.
- Another refractory of the code for background tasks. They should work faster and game GUI should be more responsive. Can contain bugs, if game freeze, report please.
- Contract view moved from pop-up dialog window to the tab in the main window. It's allow quickly view contracts of all characters in management tab.
- Support for scripted contracts - scripter now can create his own contract with conditions to leave  or even other actions.
- Automated patch creation subsystem. On the development tab you can see two new buttons. First will be inactive (intended, by using it in the special mode I can create "master" CRC list of all resource files for certain release.)  Second button start patch creation: game check CRC of all files against premade list, and all changed files will be copied to the folder "patch". Subfolder structure will be preserved, and it will be ready to use. You can archive it and then post somewhere. :)

In game content:

- New race. Nekomata - peoples with cat-like ears and tails (you can seen them before in some places, but now it's actual playable race). Nekomata have some difference in genetic beside appearance, and can have children with humans. But crossfertility is not so high as fertility inside the race.
- Named character of new race, can be encountered in the "Fun House". One-time-per-character event.
- Characters now can't raise main stat's indefinitely. They used new genes ability to maintain values on "supposed to be" level. But training is still effective way to raise them temporary, though if character leave regular training he/she will lost gained bonus eventually. This give more meaning to the legacy mechanic. :)
- Males added to the agency, I checked most content for compatibility - few fixes done, but it should be playable. Right now you can gain male character as first proxy - it will be slightly harder start, but completely playable - I'm tested it.
- Added few sport tasks. They affect different stats, so now you can chose regime that suit you characters better. (Some tasks opens after character do it in the walk mode at least one time - you show them to him/her.)
- Added "eat" action to the edible items, so if they change something in the appearance organs scripts can react to it.
- Added checks about thickness before vaginal penetration. Now it's can be impossible if characters have too different sizes. :) Also done rebalance for the vagina descriptions.
- Many other minor fixes and tweaks.

  1. So what happens if you feed males Lactation medicines?

    1. They lactate, but the numbers don't change. This brings something else to attention though.
Those kinds of items could have if/else checks that change the effects slightly based on what they're meant for; like adding more mood-shame and less benefit if the proxies lack the requested/required gender/organ(s).

  2. Thanks for all your hard work.

  3. has the uterus phase changed or is it still the same?

  4. this game is really freaking cool... but would be even cooler if it was simplified a little. you have to have scripting experience to do some of the cooler things, like make contracts, understand the organ system for character creation, custom items and events.

I cant help but feel like I'm only playing half the game.

  5. Hi, thought I would share some of my unofficial addons.
    https://anonfiles.com/file/0da0a0799667cd815d60f9e3ea514136

    - Adds 100 more girls and boys names (50 of which are japanese, as this is Hentai Fetish Master ;))
    - Adds overeat (very minor weight gain task), eat pancake and eat eclair (both require the food in the inventory of the proxy.

    1. Still wasn't happy with the amount of Japanese names.

      - Add an additional 90+ Japanese boys and girls names. 290+ in total now, versus 100 in the normal release.

    2. Very cool. Can I add it to the core content of the game?

    3. Of course, please do

  6. Gotta say, the END decay rate seems extremely excessive... you pretty much have to have a proxy spend every shift on fitness not to be constantly losing it.

I do like the general idea of having it decay - makes sense that lazing around should reduce one's fitness - but it *doesn't* make sense that working out one day and resting the next should result in a net *loss* of fitness.

It makes it so that all the time spent improving a proxy's END is pretty much wasted, since as soon as you start doing non-fitness things to take advantage of that extra END, it rapidly drops and you wind up back where you started.

I'd say reduce the decay rate by at least half, maybe more like 2/3... that way you would still have to have proxies work out regularly to stay in shape, but you wouldn't have to spend every shift every day just to not get obnoxiously weak

    1. First thing: you just select the most noneffective task to train endurance. Fitness task give only some minor bonus to END. It's mainly aimed for the DEX. Try running or swimming. :)

Second: there is no liear rate how fast stat go down. It's curve. The more it go up the more fast it will drop down without training. The same as RL - peak of physical form that gained only by hard trainings will be lost pretty fast without HARD regilar training. But to be in generaly good form you not need to workout many hours every day.

If you set task to 3 out of 4 shedule slots - it's will be trying to reach peak. Of couse you lost it fast.

Also potential peak of form - it's genetic and different for every character. Roughly it can be predicted by seeing stats before training - for example, if character with low starting SPD, you can't train him/her as a prize runner, etc...

    2. Oh sorry I meant athletic, not fitness. Running is actually the one I was using, got a net gain of about 1 END per day. Fitness gave a net loss.

And I'm not talking about it dropping fast at like 80, 90 total or anything... I never got a proxy above 60. It would start dropping faster than I could raise it at high 50s.

Not just on one proxy, either - I restarted the game 4 times, every starting proxy was this way (or worse, I had one I couldn't manage to get above 50)

    3. "If you set task to 3 out of 4 shedule slots - it's will be trying to reach peak. Of couse you lost it fast."

I had no choice - if I just set it to 1 slot the proxy just loses END every day

    4. Even walking around the forest loses END or STR. I wish it was more like lactation's effect on breast size. If you are training like a maniac for a month, you are going to bulk up in terms of muscle.

      Delete
    5. Athletic - focused on the STR. It's not very effective for END too.

And it's seems that you missunderstand what numbers of main stats showing. 100 - not the max for character. It's something like "supernatural level" and it's supposed to be unreachable for the generic human characters. This is normal. For END - average human should have it around 30-35, with intensive training - 45-55. (75 - can be considered as olympic marathon runner, absolute top for the normal human.) Training from tasks also supposed to add 5-7 points with single schedule slot, or ~10-12 with three. These not pofessional sport training after all. :)
The same for other main stats in general. Their "normal" levels is a race treat. (Example for nekomata - they have natural higher DEX and SPD, but some lower STR and END.)

Right now this is works almost as intended. For getting more than simple tasks can do, player should use some efforts. And this will be special events. (In current version no quests actually need super high stats, so no such special events added yet).

      >If you are training like a maniac for a month, you are going to bulk up in terms of muscle.
These tasks not "training like mainac". They something like hobby workout - no more then hour each, even if they use 6-hour slot. Maybe later I add "pro" versions. :)
And why do you think pro athletes so strictly follow their training schedule? It's very importnant as they try to maintain their best form peak. Even single missed training shows.

    6. It's doing nothing but making the game frustrating. It's got no real purpose or improvement, just irritation.

    7. You are not right. It's add meaning to the selecting characters for the various things carefully. And add more meaning for the other than humans races.

    8. I agree it adds a needed level of complexity in the long run - breeding, choosing different proxies for different tasks, etc. - but the problem is starting out is a lot more frustrating now. To make good money you need a proxy who can do a lot of jobs, meaning they need to not tire easily, which basically means restarting the game over and over again until it gives you a starting proxy that doesn't suck

      Delete
    9. Endurance not big problem at start. I tried one of most hard starts - first proxy is male and low endurance and strength. I not have too much problems, and after half-hour of real time I already have second proxy. Game time - something like 50-70 days.

  7. Now seems impossible to get the 'Mana' crystal repaired. The prompt to request the magic shop owner doesn't even appear.

    1. Can't confirm it. Tested it by myself right now, and seems nothing wrong with it, all work normal.

    2. Upon meeting Beliwhatsit, I look at the milker. I later go to the magic shop but there's no opportunity to ask for the crystal to be repaired.

From then on, whenever I go to Beliwhatsit, she asks if I've found a solution yet, when, of course, I can't.

  9. I really, really like that game. Do you think you could add expandable breast/butt implants to it, similar to the uterus implants maybe?

  10. Hello! Two questions. One, how do I trigger the new nekomata event? Aside from hanging around the brothel like a creep. Two, did tentacle beasts get really nerfed at some point? They're kind of sad to fight now.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. To trigger event you need proxy with certain level of lewdness (but not high) and several satisfed clients by her.

Tentacle beasts not nerfed, but they can be very different. Young ones is easy to fight, mature ones - hard. As they grow very rapidly, so you can't see difference between young and fully mature visually. This is the catсh about them. :) First rounds of fight is critical - if you take much damage - run.
